Process

How volunteering works

We aim to make it easy to get started and clear about what to expect.

1. Tell us your interests

Share your availability, location (UK or Zimbabwe), and the type of role youโ€™re interested in.

2. Quick chat and matching

Weโ€™ll arrange a short call or email exchange to match you with suitable opportunities and answer questions.

3. Induction and safeguarding

Weโ€™ll provide guidance on our approach, expectations, and safeguarding. Some roles may require additional checks.

4. Start supporting sessions

Join a reading club, pop-up library, or youth sessionโ€”or support behind the scenes. Weโ€™ll stay in touch and support you as you go.
