How to use

Simple ways to support reading

Small, consistent actions make a big difference. Use these ideas at home, in clubs, or in classrooms.

Read little and often

Aim for 10–15 minutes a day. Let children choose books that match their interests.

Talk about stories

Ask “What do you think will happen next?” and “Why did they do that?” to build comprehension.
